Welcome to Samdal-ri tells the story of Cho Sam Dal, a successful fashion photographer who leaves her small hometown on Jeju Island behind to chase her dreams in Seoul. After building a thriving career under the name Cho Eun Hye, her life is turned upside down when a scandal causes her professional and personal world to collapse. With nowhere else to turn, she returns to Samdal-ri—the place she once desperately wanted to escape. Back in her hometown, Sam Dal reunites with Cho Yong Pil, her childhood best friend and first love. Unlike Sam Dal, Yong Pil chose to remain on Jeju Island, where he works as a dedicated weather forecaster committed to protecting the local community. As the two reconnect, they must confront old wounds, unresolved feelings, and the circumstances that drove them apart years ago.
