Gong Myoung

Gong Myoung is a South Korean actor, singer, and former member of 5URPRISE. He made his acting debut in 2013 and is known for his roles in The Bride of Habaek, Lovers of the Red Sky, Citizen of a Kind, and Way Back Love. He is currently represented by Saram Entertainment.

Gong Myoung, born Kim Dong Hyun, is a South Korean actor, singer, and former member of the actor group 5URPRISE. He graduated from Topyeong High School and later earned an associate’s degree in Acting from Dong Seoul University. He is also the older brother of NCT member Doyoung.

In 2013, Fantagio introduced Gong Myoung as a member of 5URPRISE, a unique group composed of aspiring actors who trained together before debuting in the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut the same year in the web drama After School: Lucky or Not and later debuted as a singer with the group’s music releases. As his acting career gained momentum, he became known for his performances in dramas such as Drinking Solo, The Bride of Habaek, Be Melodramatic, Lovers of the Red Sky, and Hong Cheon Gi.

Following the disbandment of 5URPRISE in 2020, Gong Myoung continued to establish himself as a leading actor in both television and film. He completed his mandatory military service between 2021 and 2023 and returned to the entertainment industry with new acting projects. He is currently signed with Saram Entertainment and is recognized for his versatile performances across romance, comedy, fantasy, and drama genres.
