The East Palace

Set in a fictional historical kingdom, The East Palace begins when a terrifying curse and a series of supernatural incidents plague the Crown Prince's palace. As mysterious deaths and ghostly apparitions spread fear throughout the royal court, the King secretly assembles an unlikely team to uncover the truth. The first is Gu-cheon (Nam Joo Hyuk), a legendary ghost slayer with a unique abilit. He can cross between the world of the living and the spirit realm, even transforming into a ghost himself to battle evil entities. He's arrogant, fearless, and prefers working alone. His partner is Saeng-gang (Roh Yoon Seo), a palace court lady who was born with the ability to hear and communicate with the dead. While others see only darkness, she can hear the voices of restless spirits, making her indispensable in solving the palace's mysteries. Together, they investigate haunted chambers, ancient curses, vengeful ghosts, and long-buried royal secrets hidden within the East Palace. What starts as a haunting soon unravels into a conspiracy that threatens not only the Crown Prince but the entire kingdom.
