AHOF's Agency clarifies OST vote

AHOF's agency, F&F Entertainment, has released an official statement addressing fan concerns after the group was included in an online OST voting event without the company's prior knowledge or approval.

On August 6, the agency clarified that it had never received a proposal or participated in discussions regarding the OST project currently being promoted through the Rematch and JK FANDOM platforms.

In its official statement, F&F Entertainment explained that numerous fans had recently asked whether AHOF would participate in the OST project after seeing the group listed as a voting candidate.

The company responded by stating that it had not been contacted in advance about the project.

"We have not received any proposal or prior consultation regarding this OST."

According to the agency, all of an artist's external activities—including singing opportunities, casting offers, and special projects—must go through an internal review process before any participation can be confirmed.

F&F Entertainment emphasized that agencies must approve an artist's inclusion before they are announced as a candidate for any project.

The company stated that no discussions took place at any stage of the selection process before AHOF's name was publicly listed.

Because of this, the agency made its position clear:

"For any vote or event conducted on the premise of an artist's participation without prior consultation with our company, the artist will not be able to participate regardless of the voting results."

In other words, even if AHOF were to win the fan vote, the group would not take part in the OST because no agreement was made beforehand.

F&F Entertainment also stressed that the announcement was not intended to discourage fan support.

Instead, the company said the notice was issued to prevent confusion surrounding activities that have not been officially confirmed.

The agency added that it will continue working to ensure AHOF can promote in a healthy and stable environment while asking fans for their continued understanding and support.

Fan-voting campaigns for drama OSTs and special music projects have become increasingly common across various platforms. However, entertainment agencies typically negotiate appearance fees, scheduling, recording dates, promotional obligations, and contractual terms before an artist is officially confirmed for a project.

F&F Entertainment's statement serves as a reminder that an artist appearing in a public fan vote does not necessarily mean they have agreed to participate. Unless an agency has officially approved the project, voting results alone cannot guarantee an artist's involvement.

As of now, AHOF has not been confirmed for the OST project, and F&F Entertainment says the group will not participate in the current vote or related event due to the lack of prior consultation.
