IVE Goes Full Superhero Mode in Colorful New “Looks Can Kill” Comeback Teasers

IVE Unleashes Its Superhero Alter Egos in “Looks Can Kill” Teasers

Released on October 16 and 17, the two music video teasers introduce fans to a different side of IVE. The promotional visuals feature the members in colorful superhero-inspired outfits, surrounded by dramatic settings, special effects, and exaggerated action sequences.

One teaser places the group against a chaotic city backdrop featuring damaged streets, burning vehicles, and cinematic destruction. Despite the apparent danger around them, the members maintain a confident, larger-than-life presence.

Meet IVE's Six Superheroes

For the “Looks Can Kill” comeback, each IVE member has been assigned a superhero-inspired identity. The characters were introduced through the group's earlier “POST CREDIT SCENE: GIRL HERO” promotional video, which resembles the opening of a superhero film.

The six identities are:

• An Yujin — Captain Purple

• Gaeul — Wonder Green

• Rei — Jean Yellow

• Jang Wonyoung — Bat Pink

• Liz — Super Blue

• Leeseo — Spider Red

Each identity comes with a distinct color and styling, creating a superhero team that reflects the members' individual personalities while maintaining IVE's recognizable visual identity.

The song is scheduled for release on October 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST, ahead of the group's fifth mini album of the same name, arriving October 26.
