Lim Subeen in Talks to Join tvN Drama “Gifted” Alongside Kim Woo Bin

Lim Subeen, known to many viewers from Netflix’s hit dating reality series Single’s Inferno 5, is reportedly considering a role in tvN’s upcoming drama “Gifted” (working title).

On February 13, representatives from tvN confirmed that Lim Subeen is currently reviewing an offer to appear in the series and that discussions are progressing positively.

“Gifted” is based on a webtoon of the same name and follows the story of a professional baseball coach who develops extraordinary abilities after a sudden accident. He later becomes the coach of a struggling high school baseball team ranked at the bottom of its league. Actor Kim Woo Bin is expected to headline the drama, while Seo Eun Soo is also reportedly in consideration for a leading role.

Before entering the entertainment industry, Lim Subeen was a real-life baseball player. After suffering an injury, he shifted his career path toward acting and television. He previously promoted under the stage name Cha Been and appeared in the MBC drama A Head Coach’s Turnover. His popularity grew significantly following his appearance on Single’s Inferno 5.
