June 7, 2026

2NE1 member and solo artist Park Bom has officially ended her exclusive contract with D-NATION Entertainment after eight years with the agency.
On June 5, D-NATION Entertainment announced that both parties had mutually agreed to part ways following extensive discussions. The company explained that the decision was made with Park Bom’s health, well-being, and future career plans in mind.
In an official statement, D-NATION shared that Park Bom has recently been focusing on rest and recovery, adding that the agency wanted to respect both her stability and the direction of her future activities.
“We mutually agreed to end our exclusive contract after careful discussion,” the company stated. “As Park Bom has been concentrating on her recovery and taking time to rest, we made this decision out of respect for the artist’s well-being and future path.”
The agency also expressed gratitude for the years they spent working together, praising Park Bom’s dedication and meaningful activities as a solo artist during her time under D-NATION. Although their professional relationship has come to an end, the company stated that it will continue to support her future endeavors and wish her a healthy new beginning.
Park Bom joined D-NATION Entertainment in 2018 after leaving YG Entertainment, where she debuted as a member of the legendary girl group 2NE1. During her time with D-NATION, she successfully resumed her solo career, releasing music such as “Spring,” “4:44,” “Flower,” and “I.” She also participated in 2NE1’s highly anticipated reunion activities, including the group’s 15th-anniversary celebrations in 2024.

However, Park Bom has been largely absent from public activities since August 2025, when she temporarily suspended promotions due to health-related concerns. Her hiatus has lasted nearly a year, with fans continuing to express support and hope for her recovery.
As Park Bom begins a new chapter in her career, fans are eagerly awaiting news of her next steps. While she has not yet announced a new agency or future projects, many continue to send messages of encouragement and support as she focuses on her health and prepares for whatever comes next.
