Park Hee Soon

Park Hee Soon is a South Korean actor known for his powerful performances in both film and television. Born on February 13, 1970, he studied theater at the Seoul Institute of the Arts and spent more than a decade honing his craft as a member of the Mokwha Repertory Company from 1990 to 2001 before transitioning to film and television.

Park made his film debut in 2002 and gradually established himself as one of Korea's most respected character actors. He gained widespread recognition for his role in the thriller Seven Days (2007), earning multiple Best Supporting Actor awards for his performance as a determined detective. His reputation continued to grow through acclaimed films such as The Scam and 1987: When the Day Comes, the latter earning him the Best Supporting Actor award at the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2018.

In addition to his film career, Park has appeared in numerous television dramas, including All About My Romance, Beautiful World, and the Netflix hit My Name, where his portrayal of crime boss Choi Mu-jin introduced him to a global audience.

From 2015 to 2021, he was represented by King Kong by Starship (formerly King Kong Entertainment) before later joining MANAGEMENT SEESUN. Off-screen, Park has been in a long-term relationship with actress Park Ye-jin. After dating for five years, the couple legally registered their marriage in June 2015 and later held a small celebration with family and friends.

Today, Park Hee-soon is widely regarded as one of South Korea's most versatile actors, known for bringing depth and intensity to both heroic and villainous roles across film and television.
