Discover Hyunjun Hur's (formerly Hwall) profile, age, birthday, height, blood type, MBTI, nationality, career journey, and fun facts. Learn about the former THE BOYZ member, why he left the group, and his successful solo career.
Heo Hyun Jun, now professionally known as Hyunjun Hur, was born on March 9, 2000, in Busan, South Korea. Before debuting, he trained under Cre.ker Entertainment and was introduced as the fifth member of THE BOYZ on July 19, 2017. Even before the group's official debut, he gained early experience appearing alongside Younghoon and Eric in Melody Day's "Colour" music video, giving fans one of their first glimpses of the future idol.
Hyunjun debuted with THE BOYZ on December 6, 2017, under the stage name Hwall. In October 2019, he departed the group to focus on recovering from a long-term leg injury and prioritize his health. Rather than stepping away from entertainment permanently, he returned less than a year later under the new stage name Hyunjun Hur, launching a solo career with the single "바라기 (Baragi)." Since then, he has continued building his own identity as a solo artist and performer while remaining an important part of THE BOYZ's early history.
Fan-made pieces inspired by drama nights, bias feelings, and soft delulu moods.
Many fans remember Hyunjun for his graceful dancing and calm stage presence during THE BOYZ's rookie years. Although his time with the group was relatively short, he quickly became known as one of its strongest performers, and his departure due to health concerns was met with an outpouring of support from fans who wanted to see him recover fully.
What has made his story especially meaningful is what happened afterward. Instead of allowing his injury to define his career, Hyunjun returned under his own name and began building a new path as a solo artist. For longtime fans, his journey represents resilience, growth, and the courage to start over while staying true to himself.
