Ryul, born Kim Ryul on September 18, 2006, in Buk-gu, Busan Metropolitan City, developed his passion for music from a young age. He studied at KMC Music Academy before graduating from Hanlim Multi Art School, where he continued building the performance skills that would prepare him for an idol career. Along the way, he successfully passed a KOZ Entertainment audition before eventually joining MORE VISION as a trainee.
