Jang Ki Yong is a South Korean actor and model born in Ulsan, South Korea, and represented by UAA. He graduated from Seokyeong University with a major in model acting and first entered the entertainment industry as a runway model during Seoul Fashion Week in 2012. That same year, he was selected by the Korea Model Association as one of the most promising rookie models. He began his acting career in 2014 with his debut role in the SBS drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love.” His popularity continued to grow, and in 2018 he received the Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards for his performance in “Come and Hug Me.” Jang Ki Yong enlisted for his mandatory military service in August 2021 and was discharged in February 2023. In February 2025, it was announced that he had signed an exclusive contract with UAA.
