Drama credits will appear here once this actor is linked to shows.
Born as Pranpriya Manobal on March 27, 1997, in Buriram, Thailand, Lisa grew up with a passion for music and dance. As a child, she trained extensively in dance and joined the local dance crew We Zaa Cool, where she befriended future K-pop star BamBam. At some point during her childhood, her first name was legally changed to Lalisa after a fortune teller suggested it, with the name meaning "the one who is praised."
In 2010, Lisa auditioned for YG Entertainment when the company held open auditions in Thailand. Out of hundreds of applicants, she was the only person selected, becoming YG's first non-Korean trainee. She moved to South Korea alone as a teenager and spent years learning Korean while training in singing, dancing, and rap. On August 8, 2016, she debuted as BLACKPINK's Main Dancer and Lead Rapper. Since then, she has become one of the most recognizable entertainers in the world, breaking records as a solo artist, launching her own company LLOUD, and expanding into acting through HBO's The White Lotus.
