About

Short bio

ENHYPEN (엔하이픈) is a South Korean boy group formed through I-LAND. Learn about ENHYPEN members, leader Jungwon, debut date, fandom, former members, and fun facts.

Background

ENHYPEN is a South Korean boy group formed through the survival program I-LAND and managed by BELIFT LAB, a company originally created through a partnership between HYBE and CJ ENM.

The group's name combines the words "hyphen" and "connection." Just as a hyphen connects words to create new meaning, ENHYPEN was created to symbolize seven individuals connecting, growing together, and connecting with fans around the world.

The group officially debuted on November 30, 2020, with BORDER : DAY ONE. Their debut quickly became one of the most successful rookie launches in K-pop history. Over the following years, ENHYPEN established themselves as one of the defining fourth-generation boy groups through strong album sales, global tours, Billboard chart success, and a rapidly growing international fanbase.

Originally debuting with seven members, ENHYPEN consisted of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. Following Heeseung's departure in March 2026 and subsequent solo re-debut as EVAN, ENHYPEN continued promotions as a six-member group.
