Sanghyeon

Sanghyeon was born in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He is the maknae (youngest member) of ALPHA DRIVE ONE. His English name is Scott. He lived in the Philippines with his family for approximately five years during elementary school. Because of his time abroad, he can speak both Korean and English. His family consists of his parents and a younger sister born in 2013. Before pursuing an idol career, he trained to become an actor. He was previously a trainee under Pledis Entertainment. Prior to BOYS II PLANET, he trained for approximately two years and seven months. Sanghyeon was officially introduced as a BOYS II PLANET contestant on June 9, 2025. He received 3,862,466 votes during the BOYS II PLANET finale. His specialties include rapping, singing, and interacting with animals. He is especially skilled at training cats. He describes himself as someone who is both cute and serious at the same time. If he had to summarize himself in one sentence, he says he has both cuteness and chicness with an unexpected charm. Sanghyeon considers himself a social butterfly because he can quickly become friends with almost anyone. He says one of his secrets is that he is a very emotional person. His strengths are paying attention to details and communicating with others. His role models are Mark Lee and Cha Eun-woo. His first audition song was MERRY-GO-ROUND. He believes he ranks first among BOYS II PLANET contestants when it comes to positive energy and emotions. His ultimate power songs include KICK BACK, "20 Min" by Lil Uzi Vert, and "death bed (coffee for your head)" by Powfu featuring beabadoobee. His final goal on BOYS II PLANET was simple: to debut.
