THE BOYZ have officially confirmed that they will continue their group activities as a nine-member team after reaching a new agreement to promote together under a newly established label.

On August 6, members Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric announced that they had finalized a contract covering the group's future promotions and are currently preparing for activities through a new startup label.

In their statement, the members shared that their biggest priority throughout the process was keeping their promise to THE B (their official fandom).

Rather than rushing into individual agency deals, the members said they first focused on securing THE BOYZ's future as a group, believing it was most important to protect the trust and memories they have built with fans over the years.

The members explained that while each of them will pursue individual activities through separate companies that best support their personal careers, they have agreed to fully cooperate so that THE BOYZ's group promotions can continue without interruption.

This collaborative structure will allow the members to balance solo schedules while ensuring the group remains active.

The nine members emphasized that they have always shared the same goal.

"Our desire for all nine of us to stay together has never changed from the beginning. Above all, we wanted to share our decision first with the fans who have been waiting and worrying about THE BOYZ's future."

They continued by promising to give their best both individually and as a team.

"While doing our best in our respective places, we will continue the precious journey we've built together with our fans as THE BOYZ."

The members also thanked THE B for their unwavering support, adding that they are working hard to return with even better activities in the future.

The announcement comes after months of uncertainty surrounding THE BOYZ's future.

Earlier this year, Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric sought to terminate their exclusive contracts with ONE HUNDRED, citing an irreparable breakdown in trust. In April, a Korean court granted the members' request to suspend the validity of those contracts, clearing the way for them to pursue new management.

Today's announcement confirms that the nine members have now established a new foundation for their future group activities.

Notably absent from the announcement was New (Chanhee), who was not included among the nine members continuing under the new group agreement.

As of now, no official statement has been released regarding New's future with THE BOYZ or whether he may participate in future group activities. Likewise, former member Ju Haknyeon, who departed the group previously, is not part of the new lineup.

For now, THE BOYZ will move forward as a nine-member group, with fans eagerly awaiting news about their first comeback under the new label.

THE BOYZ's new group lineup:

  • Sangyeon
  • Jacob
