Eric, born Son Young Jae on December 22, 2000, is the youngest member of THE BOYZ. Although he was born in Seoul, South Korea, he moved with his family to Irvine, California, at the age of nine after finishing third grade. He spent roughly six years growing up in the United States before returning to Korea to pursue his dream of becoming an idol. Despite spending much of his childhood in California, Eric has remained a South Korean citizen.
After joining Cre.ker Entertainment, Eric debuted with THE BOYZ in 2017.
