Josh's full name is Josh Cullen Santos, and he was born on October 22, 1993, in Las Piñas, Philippines. As the oldest member of SB19, he is often referred to as the group's eldest member, although Pablo serves as the official leader.

• Josh was raised by a single mother alongside his older sister, and his family experienced considerable financial difficulties during his childhood. He has spoken openly about growing up without knowing his biological father and the challenges that shaped his determination to become financially independent.

• He began supporting himself financially as a teenager, working different jobs while trying to complete his education. His early employment experiences included working in computer shops, call centers and tutoring English, long before he began earning a living as a performer.

• Josh completed his secondary education through the Alternative Learning System (ALS) rather than following a conventional school schedule. He has explained that financial circumstances interrupted his schooling, but he eventually earned his high school diploma and continued pursuing his dream of performing.

• His middle name really is Cullen, which makes his fascination with vampires particularly amusing. Because of the name's association with Twilight, fans have frequently joked about his connection to the fictional Cullen family. Josh has clarified that Cullen is his actual middle name and wasn't adopted because of the vampire franchise.

• Josh's solo debut "Wild Tonight" was partly inspired by people telling him that he looks like a vampire. Rather than ignoring the comparisons, he embraced them and created a song and music video combining vampire imagery, electronic dance music, hip-hop and his own personal style.

• He actually dreamed up part of the lyrics for "Wild Tonight" while sleeping. After struggling for several days to write the opening verse, Josh dreamed of the lyrics and melody at approximately three in the morning. He immediately recorded the idea after waking up so he wouldn't forget it.

• Josh has named G-Dragon of BIGBANG as one of his biggest musical inspirations. In an early SB19 interview, he explained that he admired G-Dragon's influence on K-pop and his ability to help bring Korean popular music to a wider international audience.

• One of the first albums Josh remembers buying was a Linkin Park CD. He has described being excited to own the music physically and repeatedly listening to it when he was younger, showing that his musical influences extend beyond K-pop and hip-hop.

• Josh considers gaming and music production two of the activities that bring out his most energetic side. Although he enjoys partying and dancing, he has explained that he feels especially excited when he becomes completely absorbed in creating music or playing video games.

• His debut solo album, Lost & Found, explores difficult experiences from his childhood and personal life. Josh approached the project as an opportunity to revisit painful memories and transform them into music, hoping that listeners experiencing similar struggles might find comfort in his songs.
