Background
Born Yoon Jeong Han on October 4, 1995, in Seoul, South Korea, Jeonghan later moved with his family to Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. His journey into K-pop began unexpectedly when he was street-cast by a Pledis Entertainment recruiter at a subway station in 2013. Before deciding to become an idol, Jeonghan considered pursuing very different careers, including becoming a barista or an early-childhood teacher, even earning a professional barista license along the way.
Jeonghan debuted with SEVENTEEN on May 26, 2015, as a lead vocalist and one of the group's visuals. Over the years, he became known not only for his gentle appearance but also for his sharp intelligence, playful personality, and ability to outsmart both members and production staff during variety shows. In 2024, he expanded his activities by forming the duo Jeonghan X Wonwoo, releasing the single album This Man. Later that year, he enlisted for his mandatory military service and was honorably discharged on June 25, 2026, returning to fans after completing his service.
