Wain

Wain's real name is Park Sehoon (박세훈), and he was born on October 25, 2000, in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Even after traveling and promoting with XODIAC, he still considers his hometown of Gimpo the place where he feels most relaxed.

Wain describes himself as rather unfriendly or aloof at first, but he thinks his extreme shyness around unfamiliar people is something he would actually like to change about himself.

Exercise is a major part of Wain's life, and among the XODIAC members he is known as someone who particularly loves working out and staying active rather than spending all of his free time indoors.

His current sports obsession is futsal. When asked what he likes to do on his days off, Wain chose exercising and playing futsal, and when asked where he would most like to go immediately, his answer was simply a futsal court.

Wain has a strong connection with wolves, which are his favorite animals and the animal people frequently tell him he resembles. He has even jokingly introduced himself as being in charge of both "rap and wolves" within XODIAC.

Before pursuing an idol career, Wain originally considered becoming a model while he was in high school. His eventual path took him toward music instead, although XODIAC's fashion-heavy image has still given him plenty of opportunities to work in front of fashion cameras.

Wain reportedly spent around four years training before his debut, passing through several companies during his trainee years before ultimately joining the project that became XODIAC.

He is a longtime MONSTA X fan, and some of his favorite songs from the group include "GAMBLER" and "DRAMARAMA." He was apparently extremely excited when XODIAC's promotions finally gave him an opportunity to meet them at a music show.

MONSTA X's I.M is one of Wain's biggest role models, particularly fitting for Wain as a rapper himself. He has also named CIX's Bae Jinyoung as another artist he admires.

His CIX fandom extends to their music as well, with Wain naming "Save me, Kill me" as one of the CIX songs he particularly likes.

Wain's naturally low-pitched voice is one of his distinguishing characteristics, but according to Wain himself, his voice wasn't always as deep as it is now. He believes it became noticeably lower after puberty and as he began rapping more seriously.

Wain is apparently one of the fastest XODIAC members to get ready in the morning, and part of his routine involves making his bed immediately after waking up because having everything neatly arranged makes him feel prepared to start the day.

When it comes to food, Wain says he could happily eat chicken dishes and eggs every day. If you caught him between meals, though, there's a good chance his drink of choice would be an iced Americano.

Wain has admitted that he is afraid of ghosts, which becomes particularly funny considering XODIAC once experienced flickering lights in their dorm and the frightened members ended up gathering together in a small room so they wouldn't have to sleep alone.

He is a Harry Potter fan and identifies with Ravenclaw, while his favorite animated character comes from a completely different universe: Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story.

Wain likes Buzz Lightyear enough that the character has reportedly become part of his everyday belongings; he has carried a Buzz Lightyear charm on his bag and used a Buzz-themed phone case.

When asked which XODIAC member he would like to become for a day, Wain chose Hyunsik, giving fans a rare clue about which member's life he would be most curious to experience from the inside.

Wain chose the 🤩 star-struck emoji to represent XODIAC, explaining that he hopes the group can become the kind of artists who make people's eyes sparkle when they see them. For him, reaching that level means the members have to keep working harder.

Releasing XODIAC's pre-debut song "Calling" made Wain both excited and nervous, because it was the first time the public would encounter both XODIAC and Wain himself. He later said that the positive response from fans helped erase those worries and made him feel grateful.

One of Wain's biggest goals for XODIAC is simply to perform on as many different stages as possible and earn a first-place win on a music show, showing that his ambitions are focused on building the group's reputation through their performances.
