Stell's full name is Stellvester Ajero, and he was born on June 16, 1995, in Las Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines. He is SB19's main vocalist and lead dancer, although his responsibilities have also included helping develop the group's choreography.
• Despite becoming famous for his powerful singing voice, Stell actually preferred dancing when he was younger. His parents encouraged him to take voice lessons because they recognized his potential as a singer, even though he initially wanted to focus more on dancing.
• Stell's earliest musical experiences came from singing karaoke with his family. He has explained that music was an important part of family gatherings, and those informal karaoke sessions helped introduce him to singing long before he imagined becoming a professional vocalist.
• His grandfather accompanied him to his first formal voice lesson, which was taught by a vocal instructor who had also worked with Filipino bossa nova singer Sitti. Stell remembers being unexpectedly asked to sing during the lesson and struggling to decide what song to perform.
• Stell was a member of the competitive dance group SE-EON alongside Josh before either joined SB19. Their shared history goes back years before their idol debut, and SE-EON participated in numerous dance competitions, including winning a K-pop cover dance competition at the 2014 K-Pop ASEAN Festival.
• He studied Hotel and Restaurant Management at STI College and worked in fast food while attending school. His pre-debut experiences gave him a background outside entertainment before he eventually committed to becoming a professional performer.
• Stell has named Filipino singers Jed Madela and Morissette among his musical inspirations, alongside Bruno Mars and the K-pop group VIXX. His influences reflect his interest in technically demanding vocals, expressive performances and choreography.
• He loves strawberries, and the fruit has become closely associated with his identity among fans. Stell is also known for enjoying cooking, making food one of the interests he has outside his demanding performance schedule.
• Stell enjoys eating Filipino food with his hands, a traditional practice known as kamayan. During a 2022 interview about unusual eating habits, he explained that he especially enjoys eating this way and jokingly suggested that he might try eating barefoot next time to make his answer more unusual.
• Stell is surprisingly afraid of clowns. In a February 2025 interview featuring fun facts about SB19, the members revealed that Stell had recently encountered a clown and was genuinely frightened, giving fans a funny contrast to his confident personality onstage.
• He has a talent for voice impersonations and enjoys making people laugh. During a 2024 interview with Julie Anne San Jose, Stell demonstrated an impression of Boyet, a character played by actor Ken Chan in the Filipino television drama My Special Tatay.
• Stell is often described as SB19's mood-setter because of his playful personality. The members have repeatedly mentioned his sense of humor, and Pablo once described him as someone who helps lift the group's spirits and makes their time together more enjoyable.
• He enjoys talking to strangers while traveling, particularly when visiting the United States. During an interview about SB19's North American tour, Stell said he liked exploring different cities, visiting museums, trying restaurants and striking up conversations with people he encountered.
• Stell initially hesitated to become a coach on The Voice Generations Philippines because he wanted to prioritize SB19. His fellow members, family and team encouraged him to accept the opportunity, reminding him that he had earned the position and was capable of helping other performers.
• He was the final SB19 member to launch an official solo music career, debuting with "Room" in June 2024. Stell explained that he had waited because he didn't feel ready to pursue solo music earlier, even though his groupmates had already begun exploring individual projects.
• Stell loves creating TikTok content and was especially excited about the creative possibilities surrounding "Room." When preparing for his solo debut, he imagined different dance videos, performances and other content that could accompany the song rather than focusing exclusively on traditional music promotions.
• His debut solo EP included a song written by Ryan Cayabyab, one of the Philippines' most respected composers. The track, "'Di Ko Masabi," gave Stell an opportunity to showcase a more emotional and vocally focused side of himself alongside the project's upbeat songs.
• Stell has expressed a desire to use his music and television work to inspire younger performers. His experience coaching contestants on The Voice Generations and The Voice Kids reflects his interest in helping developing artists build confidence and improve their skills.
