Discover Momo's profile, including her age, birthday, height, blood type, MBTI, nationality, and fun facts.
Born Hirai Momo on November 9, 1996, in Kyotanabe, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, Momo began dancing at just three years old, often practicing alongside her older sister, Hana. Her life changed after JYP Entertainment discovered a dance video featuring the two sisters and invited them to audition. Although both auditioned, only Momo was accepted, leading her to move to South Korea and begin training as an idol.
Momo competed on the survival program SIXTEEN, but her journey took an unforgettable turn when she was eliminated in Episode 6. Recognizing her extraordinary dance talent, JYP founder Park Jin-young made the unprecedented decision to personally bring her back into the final lineup, allowing her to debut with TWICE on October 20, 2015. Since then, Momo has become one of K-pop's most celebrated dancers. In 2023, she debuted in TWICE's first official sub-unit, MISAMO, alongside Mina and Sana, further expanding her career in Japan.

Momo is often called TWICE's "Dance Machine," and for good reason. Her incredible precision, power, and stage presence have made her one of the most respected dancers in K-pop. Whether performing intricate choreography or freestyling, she consistently delivers performances that captivate audiences around the world.
Off stage, Momo couldn't be more different. Fans adore her lovable, slightly absent-minded personality, contagious laugh, and unexpectedly goofy sense of humor. Her genuine kindness, strong work ethic, and close friendships with the other members have made her one of TWICE's most cherished members.
