Background
KickFlip (킥플립) is a seven-member South Korean boy group under JYP Entertainment, consisting of Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju and Donghyeon. The group officially debuted on January 20, 2025, with its first mini album, Flip it, Kick it!, and title track "Mama Said." KickFlip is JYP Entertainment's first Korean boy group to debut after Stray Kids, bringing together four contestants from the 2021 SBS survival show LOUD and three additional trainees who were introduced shortly before debut. The group's name comes from a skateboarding trick and represents its ambition to challenge conventions through energetic music, creative performances and a free-spirited identity.
KickFlip quickly developed a recognizable musical style combining youthful rebellion, hip-hop influences, pop-rock and emotionally direct storytelling. After introducing themselves with songs including "Umm Great," "Mama Said" and "FREEZE," they achieved their first music-show victory in October 2025 with "My First Love Song." Their subsequent releases continued exploring friendship, growing up, self-discovery and the uncertainty of entering adulthood. In October 2026, the group released KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1, featuring the double title tracks "Puzzle Piece" and "Kick Off The Wall (Feat. iann dior)."

Fun Facts about KickFlip Members
KickFlip is JYP Entertainment's first Korean boy group to debut after Stray Kids. Stray Kids debuted in 2018, meaning JYP waited nearly seven years before launching another Korean boy group.
• The group officially has seven members. Its lineup consists of Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju and Donghyeon.
• KickFlip's name comes from a skateboarding trick. The move involves flipping a skateboard beneath the rider's feet and inspired the group's energetic, convention-breaking identity.
• Four members were introduced through the survival show LOUD. Kyehoon, Amaru, Keiju and Donghyeon participated in the 2021 competition before debuting together in 2025.
• Three members were not on LOUD. Donghwa, Juwang and Minje joined the final lineup after developing their skills through JYP Entertainment's regular trainee system.
• KickFlip's debut was delayed for more than three years after LOUD. Although JYP's team was selected in 2021, the group did not officially debut until January 2025.
• Kyehoon trained for approximately nine years before debuting. He entered JYP Entertainment in 2016, making him the group's longest-serving trainee.
• Kyehoon was already a JYP trainee before Stray Kids debuted. His long training period allowed him to experience the company's development of several generations of artists.
• Amaru trained under YG Entertainment before joining JYP. His earlier training connected him to future TREASURE members, including Asahi and Haruto.
• Amaru grew up listening to 2PM because of his mother. His eventual decision to join JYP Entertainment brought him to the same company as the group that helped inspire his interest in K-pop.
