Discover everything about Kyujin (NMIXX) including her age, birthday, height, dance background, friendships, hobbies, and how she became one of fourth-generation K-pop's most promising all-round performers.
Born on May 26, 2006, in Seongnam, South Korea, Kyujin developed an interest in performing at a young age after watching singers and dancers on television. Long before becoming an idol trainee, she was already heavily involved in dance and eventually became the leader of her school's dance team, gaining valuable leadership experience despite her young age.
In 2018, Kyujin auditioned for JYP Entertainment through Withbill Dance Academy, performing Taeyeon's Fine during her audition. She impressed the company enough to be accepted immediately and began training shortly afterward. Three years later, she became one of the first NMIXX members introduced to the public alongside Jiwoo and Jinni through a dance performance video released on August 6, 2021. Debuting at only 15 years old, Kyujin quickly earned praise for her maturity, stage presence, and ability to excel in singing, dancing, and rap despite being the youngest member of the group.
