Background
Born on February 25, 2003, in Incheon, South Korea, Haewon discovered her dream of becoming a singer at an incredibly young age. She has shared that she wanted to become an artist from the age of five, inspired in part by her older sister's love of K-pop music. A defining moment came during elementary school when she first heard Imagine Dragons' Demons. Even though she couldn't understand the English lyrics at the time, the song moved her so deeply that she decided she wanted to create music capable of giving other people the same emotional experience.
