도균 | Kim Do-gyun
Meet Dogyun of 82MAJOR: learn about the group's youngest member and main vocalist, including his age, height, zodiac, background, love of UFC and martial arts, personality, hobbies and fun facts.
Kim Dogyun (김도균), known professionally as Dogyun (도균), is a South Korean singer and the youngest member of the K-pop boy group 82MAJOR. Born on September 14, 2006, Dogyun serves as the group's main vocalist and debuted with 82MAJOR on October 11, 2023, with the single album ON. As the only member born in 2006, he is the group's maknae, although the older members have described him as surprisingly mature and dependable. Dogyun has also participated in 82MAJOR's music-making process alongside the other members.
Known for his powerful vocals, Dogyun has explored music outside of 82MAJOR as well. In 2025, he collaborated with Japanese producer JUVENILE, an experience he said helped increase his confidence as a musician and gave him an opportunity to approach his vocals differently from 82MAJOR's harder hip-hop-influenced material. Away from music, Dogyun is passionate about combat sports and is an avid UFC fan. He has expressed an interest in learning multiple martial arts and even named Korean MMA legend Jung Chan-sung, better known as "The Korean Zombie," as someone he would love to face in a match.
Fan-made pieces inspired by drama nights, bias feelings, and soft delulu moods.
Dogyun's full name is Kim Dogyun (김도균), and he was born on September 14, 2006, making him the youngest member of 82MAJOR.
He is 82MAJOR's main vocalist and the group's maknae.
Dogyun is a huge UFC fan. He watches fights so often that he says his video recommendations are basically filled with UFC content.
His favorite fighter is Korean MMA legend Jung Chan-sung, "The Korean Zombie." Dogyun has even said that he'd love to have a match with him someday.
Watching combat sports isn't enough for him — Dogyun has said he wants to learn several different martial arts himself.
He says he is good at combat sports but bad at ball sports, making his athletic talents very specifically geared toward fighting rather than throwing or kicking a ball.
Dogyun can walk on his hands while doing a handstand. He discovered the skill after the other members suggested that he find a special talent involving physical movement because he's naturally good at using his body.
He can also go from a handstand into a forward roll and spring himself back onto his feet.
Despite being 82MAJOR's youngest member, Seongil once described Dogyun as being like the group's "dad" because he has a surprisingly mature side and can be dependable.
Dogyun says he likes children and is good at taking care of them. He also has a younger sibling whom he says he loves very much.
He is more shy than people might expect — and apparently even more shy than Dogyun himself initially realized.
Unlike some of his bandmates, Dogyun doesn't enjoy online games. He freely admits that he's also really bad at them.
The first baseball game Dogyun ever watched was one he attended with the other 82MAJOR members. He hadn't even watched a baseball game through video before then, but said sharing that first experience with the members made it special.
One dorm rule Dogyun has said the members actually manage to follow is simple: if they do laundry, they have to hang it up that same day.
Dogyun is a fan of Japanese singer-songwriter Yuuri and particularly likes his voice and lyrics.
