Born Lee Je No on April 23, 2000, in Incheon, South Korea, Jeno entered the entertainment industry at an early age as a child model, appearing in numerous television commercials before becoming a trainee. He later joined SM Entertainment, where he met fellow future NCT DREAM member Jaemin. The two attended the same school, sat next to each other in class, and even became trainees on the exact same day, forming one of the longest-lasting friendships in NCT.
