Jiho (지호) is a South Korean singer and member of AMPERS&ONE. Learn about Choi Ji Ho's age, birthday, nationality, Boys Planet journey, former leadership role, MBTI, and fun facts.
Choi Ji Ho (최지호), known professionally as Jiho, is a South Korean singer and vocalist of AMPERS&ONE. Born on June 10, 2004, in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Jiho spent most of his childhood in South Korea but also lived in Boston, Massachusetts, for approximately one year. This experience exposed him to different cultures at an early age and contributed to his global outlook. Before pursuing an idol career full-time, he attended Guryong Middle School and Chung-Ang University High School in Seoul, where he balanced academics with his growing passion for performance.
Jiho's road to debut was filled with challenges. In 2021, he competed on Extreme Debut: Wild Idol alongside future bandmate Kamden, and in 2023 he appeared on Boys Planet, where he was eliminated in Episode 5. Despite multiple setbacks, Jiho remained committed to his dream, even sharing that he had promised his parents he would give up becoming an idol if he had not debuted by age twenty. His perseverance paid off when he debuted with AMPERS&ONE in 2023 and became the group's original leader. In September 2024, leadership responsibilities were transferred to Kamden after discussions among the members and company, allowing Jiho to focus more on his role as a performer while continuing to contribute to the group's growth.
