Born on April 27, 2005, in Kurume City, Fukuoka, Japan, Tomiyasu Yu grew up in a family that included an older sister, a younger sister, and three beloved cats named Kuru, Nini, and Keti. From a young age, Yu displayed an unusual level of determination. After seeing breakdancing for the first time in kindergarten, he immediately asked his mother if he could learn it. By age nine, he was training seriously in power move-based b-boying, attending practice five days a week and often choosing dance lessons over spending time with friends.
Long before joining NEXZ, Yu had already spent years pursuing his dream of becoming an idol.
