Background
A-na, born Roh Yu-na on December 20, 2008, is the younger of two daughters and grew up alongside an older sister born in 2005. Even as a child, she had an adventurous personality. One of her earliest memories is cutting her own hair when she was around four or five years old, then hiding from her mother afterward because she knew she was in trouble. That playful curiosity would later become one of her most recognizable personality traits.
A-na officially joined SM Entertainment on October 16, 2022, just one day after future Hearts2Hearts member Ian signed with the company. She introduced herself to SM by singing the South Korean national anthem during her first audition and trained for over two years before debuting with Hearts2Hearts in 2025.
