Yuha, born Yu Ha Ram on April 12, 2007, is from Wonju, Gangwon-do, South Korea. She is the eldest of three daughters in her family and has a fraternal twin sister who was born exactly two minutes after her. A naturally gifted musician from a young age, Yuha won first place in piano at the 4th Chuncheon City National Music Competition, showcasing the musical talent that would later help her pursue an idol career.
Yuha's path to SM Entertainment was remarkably persistent. She was street-cast by the company on three separate occasions before eventually joining as a trainee. Her first audition featured Disney's "Love Is an Open Door" from Frozen, reflecting her lifelong love of Disney. After spending approximately eight years training—the longest of any Hearts2Hearts member—and practicing alongside future aespa members, Yuha finally debuted with Hearts2Hearts in 2025.
