Ye-on, born Kim Na-yeon on April 19, 2010, is from Sangbuk-myeon, Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. An only child, she discovered her love of music at an incredibly young age, beginning to sing when she was just five or six years old. Her talent became evident early, and at only eight years old, she appeared on the children's singing competition program Who Is The Best?, giving her one of her first experiences performing in front of a television audience.
Ye-on's journey to SM Entertainment began online when a casting director discovered videos of her singing nursery rhymes and songs from musicals. After reaching out through a direct message, the company invited her to audition, where she performed Jessie J's "Price Tag." She eventually joined SM Entertainment and debuted with Hearts2Hearts in 2025 as the group's maknae, becoming the youngest idol under SM Entertainment at the time of her debut.
